Keep it Simple.

I hate that death is a part of life.
I hate that everyone has to lose someone so dear to them.
I hate that sometimes we don’t get to say goodbye.
I hate seeing those tears behind your eyes.
And the sound of a piano plays in my mind.
Your fingers move across it as tears roll down your face.
And I hate the thought of you feeling what I once felt.
I felt alone, but you won’t have to feel that way.
I promise you that.

We’ve so often pointed fingers at everybody else as if we have it all together, so when people realize we don’t, they reject Jesus or they think that Christianity is a scam. yet if we were honest from the beginning wouldn’t people know that this is for broken people? That Jesus didn’t come for folks who have it all together but people who are willing to admit that they are falling apart.
